KONSEP TAUBAT DALAM AL QUR’AN: STUDI KOMPARASI ATAS TAFSIR AL-ASAS FI AL-TAFSIR DAN TAFSIR AL-AZHAR

Abstrak

The concept of repentance in the Qur'an from the perspective of Tafsir al-Asās fī al-Tafsīr and Tafsir al-Azhar, which is based on the many phenomena of repentance that only come verbally without being realized in life and differences in understanding the meaning of repentance, especially regarding the standard of repentance. accepted by Allah SWT. The aim of this research is to find out the method of interpreting the books Tafsir al-Asās fī al-Tafsīr and Tafsir al-Azhar and to explain the interpretation of several verses about repentance so that similarities and differences can be found between the two tafsir books. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of research Library Research. Using comparative theoretical analysis. The results of this research are; First, the method used in the books Al-Asās Fī al-Tafsīr and Tafsir al-Azhar is the tahlili method, arranged according to the order of the letters in the mushaf. Second, the concept of repentance from the two tafsir books is returning to the truth, being honest, true, clean and sincere from the heart. Behavior that provides a good influence or example to the people around him. Repentance is a commitment to always obey, regret in the heart, ask for forgiveness verbally and stop in action, take responsibility for mistakes that have been made, improve oneself and increase ṣadaqah, confession to God sincerely from the heart and self-awareness that what is done is a mistakes, repentance is a choice. There were also similarities and differences between the two mufassir in interpreting the word repentance in several verses.
